Therapy Services

I provide therapy in-person at my office. In-person can be a great option as it allows the two of us to be in each others' presence. This also gives us the opportunity to play games together, go on walks, go outside, and even engage in arts and crafts.

Some clients prefer to have therapy in the comfort of their own home. Online therapy can be an effective option for those wanting to have session from home. There are creative ways to use the online platform that still allows us to do in-person activities virtually.

I am trained in EMDR and also offer EMDR therapy. EMDR can be a helpful resource for those who have experienced trauma & other adverse experiences. EMDR can be used for more than trauma — it is also useful for those wanting to process painful events. EMDR can also be done virtually via Telehealth.

Part of my work, particularly when working with young children, can involve working with parents when appropriate. In addition to check-ins with parents, I also offer sessions where I provide parenting support to those wanting additional aid in establishing effective parenting strategies.

Another point of my work that I am passionate about is to help increase awareness and use of mental health services in the Asian community. The Asian community faces unique challenges that often impact their mental health. I hope to see more Asian and Asian-Americans in therapy.
